It’s a set of defined standards for the visual application of the brand’s look-and-feel — its identity. Generally limited to visual executions, and usually intended for designers and marketing vendors.

Logo Applications including the full spectrum of various color applications in which your logo could be used: full color, spot color, gray scale, black-and-white and reversed.
Typography including fonts and styles for brand elements such as the tagline, ad headlines, subheads, body copy etc.
Color Palette including color palettes in PMS, CMYK and RGB equivalents and clear guidelines for usage.
Brand Imagery and Photography including the criteria and examples.
